Parent Visa - Jassal Consultancy
This visa lets you visit Australia for up to 3 or 5 years, but you need to have an approved sponsor and pay a sponsorship fee. You can apply for this visa multiple times, but the total stay cannot exceed 10 years.
Sponsored Parent (Temporary) visa (subclass 870)
This visa lets you move to Australia permanently, but you need to pay a higher visa application charge and an assurance of support bond. You can apply for this visa either in or outside Australia.
Contributory Parent visa (subclass 143)
This visa also lets you move to Australia permanently, but it has a lower visa application charge and no assurance of support bond. However, this visa has a very long waiting time, as it is subject to capping and queueing. You can only apply for this visa outside Australia.
